With the Indiana Education license plate, you can spread the word about the importance of learning and show your support for our public schools.  Every mile you drive, you'll send the message that you are "committed to Education.  And you'll remind others, too, about its value.


By selecting the Indiana Education license plate, you are making a contribution that goes directly to the public school corporation or public education foundation of your choice. Each school community decides how best your contribution can be used to open new doors of opportunities for students, such as: technology, arts, hands-on experience, new materials, or special programs.


Just $40.00 puts your commitment on your license plate. The cost includes $15.00 for plate administrative cost, $6.25 funds elementary school counselors, and $18.75 goes directly to the school corporation or public education foundation of your choice. All you need to do is request the license plate with Garfield that reads "Committed to Education" when you renew you license plate.  You'll open the doors of opportunity for Indiana students and spread the word about public education!




If your vehicle already has an Education license plate:
1. The cost of your plate is included in the total on the registration renew form for your license plate.
2. Pay the total amount due to reorder your special plate.

If your vehicle does not have an Education license plate, and you wish to purchase one:

1.  Pick up a Education License Plate flyer at one of the following locations:

• West Lafayette License Branch -- 720 West Navajo Street, 765-464-1525

• Lafayette License Branch -- 2200 Elmwood Avenue, Suite C1, 765-448-3738

• The PSFTC Office -- 21 Elston Road, Lafayette, 765-474-2481

2.  Return the flyer with your normal registration renewal form and your Education plate will be mailed to you promptly!
